Skincare!!

1)How many times do you wash your face daily?
I try to wash it twice daily, but I'm not always great about it. Usually at night I use a makeup remover cloth to quickly remove my makeup from the day. During the day I use a cleanser.

2)What skin type do you have?
I have combination skin. I get really dry patches on my cheeks (from suspect Rosacea), and oily skin on my forehead, nose, and chin.

3)What is your current facial wash?
I use a drugstore facial wash - Equate's Skin Cleanser Gentle Formula. My theory is, don't invest in face wash - invest in something that's going to sit the longest on your face - like your moisturizer. Face wash is on your face for at the most 60 seconds. Its sole purpose is to take the dirt/makeup off of your face.

4)Do you exfoliate?
Yes. I exfoliate about 2-3 times per week.

5)What brand do you use?
I use Clinique's 7 day scrub cream and St. Ives Apricot Scrub.

6)What moisturiser do you use?
I use Bioelement's Absolute Moisture in the evening and Loreal's Futur-e Moisturizer SPF 15 during the day.

7)Do you have freckles?
Yes, but only a few.

8)Do you use eye cream?
Yes - I do. I have some from Mary Kay, Clinique, and Claudalie (I think that's how it's spelled). I LOOOOOVVVVEEE eye cream.

9)Do you or did you have acne prone skin?
Yes. My parents both had acne-prone skin, so of course I had/have it as well. It's not so fun to have wrinkles and pimples at the same time.

10)Did you ever have to use Pro-Activ?
No, but my son uses it and it works pretty well as a disinfectant for his skin.

11)What foundation do you use?
I use several different kinds, depending on my mood and the time I have to put on my makeup. I use Rimmel's Stay Matte foundation, Rimmel's Lasting Finish foundation (which I love), and I'm about to go out and get me some more foundation because I'm almost out. I was going to try either Revlon's Colorstay foundation or Loreal's TrueMatch foundation, because I've heard great things about both.

12)How about concealer?
I most definitely use concealer - and I love full coverage. I use Bioelement's Power Concealer. Love it.

13)Do you know your undertone colour?
I'm a neutral leaning towards yellow.

14)What do you think of fake eyelashes?
I love them!!! I'm still learning how to put them on, but I think they're great for dramatic makeup looks.

15)Did you know you were supposed to change your mascara every 3 months?
Yep.

16)What brand of mascara do you use?
I use Clinique's lash doubling mascara, Great Lash mascara by Maybelline, and Mary Kay's Signature Ultimate Mascara.

17)Sephora or Mac?
I love both - but if I had to choose it would be Sephora because they of course have more brands and more variety.

18)Do you have a Mac Pro card?
Not yet.

19)What makeup tools do you use in makeup application?
I use sponges, wedges, and all kinds of brushes. I'm a firm believer that the right tools make beautiful, blended makeup.

20)Do you use makeup base/primer for the eyes?
Absolutely. I use Urban Decay's Primer Potion, or I use Krista's Cosmetics Eye/Lip Primer.

21)For the face?
No, however, I'm going to be shopping for one soon.

22)What is your favourite eyeshadow?colour or shade?
That's like asking who my favorite child is!!!! I can't pick just one. I have so many that I love. I do tend to stray towards greens and blues - they just make me happy.

23)Do you use pencil or liquid liner?
I use both. Pencil is my staple - I use it to line my waterline and my tightline, and then if I want something more dramatic I'll line my eyes with either a gel or liquid liner.

24)How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil?
Not very often. It freaking hurts when you do that.

25)What do you think of pigment eyeshadows?
I LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!

26)Do you use mineral makeup?
Absolutely!!! I love mineral makeup!!!!!

27)What is your favourite lipstick?
I like Clinique's Think Bronze, Revlon's Lipsticks are great, and so are Loreal's. I also like Urban Decay's Midnight Cowboy Rides Again lipstick.

28?How about lipgloss?
I love lipgloss - especially Mary Kay's lipgloss. It has a great formula.

29)What is your favourite blush to use?
I like to use bronzer as blush, and also layer on top Too Faced Blush in their World Domination Tour Palette.

30)Do you buy your makeup on Ebay?
No. I'm kind of leary to buy makeup from ebay. I'd rather buy it at Sephora or Mac.

31)Do you like drugstore makeup?
I love it!!! You can go out and buy you a treat and you don't have to feel guilty about the price!

32)Do you go to CCO's?Cosmetic Company Outlet?
Yes, when I'm near one. The last time I went my mom bought me a MAC brush set!!! Squeeee!!!

33)Did you ever consider taking makeup classes?
I did take makeup classes when I was in school for esthetics, and I've been teaching myself for a long time. I love makeup.

34)Are you clumsy in putting on makeup?
No, not usually. Except when I try to put on false lashes.

35)Name a makeup crime that you hate?
When eyeshadow isn't blended properly. Or when people where eyemakeup without doing their eyebrows or mascara.

36)Do you like colourful shades of makeup (lipstick or eyeshadow) or neutral ones?
I like both.

37)Which celebrity always has great makeup?
Whoever does Oprah's makeup always does a great job. The contouring looks awesome and it completely transforms her face.

38)If you could leave the house using just ONE makeup item, what would you use?
Concealer to help even out my skin tone.

39)Could you leave the house without any makeup on?
Yes, but I always feel a little self-consious.

40)Do you think you look good even without any makeup on?
I don't think I look like Freddy Krueger or anything, but I look better with some makeup on.

41)In your opinion what is the BEST makeup line?
Besides Krista's Cosmetics? ;-) I would say Make Up For Ever.

42)What do you think of makeup?
I am actually obsessed with it. I love trying it on, I love playing with the colors, I love helping people pick out makeup, I love reading about new formulas/lines, I would actually love to become a cosmetic chemist.
